The China International Furniture Expo 2009 made its 15th debut at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, China, from 9-12 September 2009.Organized by the China National Furniture Association and managed by Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co.Ltd, the four days international furniture exhibition covered 400,000sqm of exhibition space with 11 main halls and 21 tentage halls.

The annual fair displayed a myriad of products which included office furniture, furnishings, fabrics, lightings, kitchen & cabinet, furniture fittings, woodworking machinery, furniture accessories, chemical fittings and others. A total of 2300 exhibitors participated in this gigantic fair and some of the countries which took part were Malaysia, France, Taiwan, Spain, Italy, Singapore and Hong Kong, just to name a few. A total of 39 companies from Malaysia participated ( 16 exhibitors were from EFE which equated to 40%). Total visitor-ship was estimated at 45,000.

Mr. David Tay, Chief Operating Officer, who promoted EFE at this prestigious fair, reiterated  the exhibition was well organized with convenience in mind for buyers, exhibitors and visitors.
