1.Karles Ravndal - Handelshuset Martinsen, Norway
“Even though I have only visited one hall so far, I can say that the planning has been good and the layout is conducive for a big team like mine to browse through the different exhibits. I am here with quite a number of staff and it helps a lot that the expo is well organized. We are a big team and so it makes it easier to negotiate and navigate our way through the four different halls.”

2.Rais Ahmed & Shyam Joshi - Winds Trading, Dubai UAE
“Well, the exhibition centre is quite a distance from the city centre. It would be better if it were nearer to KL. So far, we have seen a lot of different types of sofa furniture. However, our company does wooden furniture wholesaling and we are looking forward to seeing more wooden furniture in the other halls. But so far, we find the exhibit area very spacious. With 40,000 square meters of floor space, you can move about very freely. Our company also imports and distributes household and hotel products and we came to EFE 2009 to look for the latest innovations that will be welcome back in Dubai.”

3.Jean Goder - Acquire Home Living, Australia

“Everything here is very accessible. There is no problem making my way from one booth to another, or one hall to another. The halls are very clean and comfortable as well and make my experience a pleasant one. There has been a good range of product I have seen so far. I run a furniture retail business back home and we sell a wide variety of products. The exhibitors have got all sorts of different furniture and there is plenty of stuff that would fit into my business back in Australia.”

4.Sherry Xian - Dongguan Dashengyuan Leather, China
“It is my first time at EFE and I find that the organization is excellent. Although exhibits in China may be larger, it is a different experience here with different opportunities. I am actually looking for business opportunities in Malaysia because the Chinese economy is slowing down. There are many manufacturers here that I hope to tie up with to tap into the Malaysian market. After all, from what I see, Chinese brands are popular here, so I think I can succeed in Malaysia furniture.”

5.Udegbunam Chidi Kingsley - Bestotel, Nigeria
“It is very good and very comfortable. As you can see, I am enjoying trying out these beds. I have seen a lot of beautiful products. Look at the number of brochures and leaflets I have collected. I am really interested in taking back a number of products back to Africa. I run a wholesale business that runs not just in Nigeria but Ghana and Cameroon and we are looking to expand to other African countries so I will need a lot of variety to cater to the different tastes.”

6.Michelle Andrea Tumala - Goulden Myers International, Philippines
“I have come for every EFE so far. Now, even in my fifth visit, I am still eager to look for new items to bring back to the Philippines. There is not much new going on in furniture design, so I visit as many expos as possible. EFE 2009 will give me an opportunity to look for new items that are applicable for the Filipino market as the product range in Malaysia is very different from what you can get in the Philippines.”
